The holster is in excellent condition showing minor handling marks and scuffing of the leather in some areas with nice tight stitching. The grips are both in excellent condition overall with nice checkering on both sides, with some handling marks. This Luger is complete with a finely made period unmarked commercial brown leather shoulder holster.Ĭondition: Excellent with 98% of the original blue finish with wear on the high spots. Luger p08 serial numbers serial number#As noted it is complete with two late type three magazines, both of them are marked on the side with, "P08/fxo/Eagle/37" with the serial number "10" on the base of each magazine one appears to be double stamped. It is numbered in the military fashion in that it has the full serial number stamped on the front of the frame and barrel extension as well as most of the remaining parts, except the barrel (which is completely unmarked or proofed) the walnut grips and firing pin, (both of which are unnumbered). The left side of the barrel extension and breech block are stamped with a single "Eagle/N" commercial proofmark with no other proofs on the pistol. It is still chambered in the standard 9 mm Luger cartridge and as noted the chamber is undated with the standard Mauser Banner trademark on the first toggle. As noted this pistol has no serial number suffix, however it has the all salt blued parts and the later "Eagle/N" commercial proofs found on pistols made after 1940, indicating that this was a standard commercial contract luger. ![]() This is an excellent example of a low two digit number, undated Commercial contract Mauser Banner Luger pistol, that is complete with a spare magazine and shoulder holster. ![]()
